Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at NL-ix. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining networks within our organisation and between organisations. You will offer support to users and staff and ensure network security by installing, configuring, and supporting firewalls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain networks within the organisation or between organisations
• Offer support to users and staff
• Install, configure, and support firewalls to ensure network security
• Ensure that networks have maximum uptime
• Provide fast and reliable connections for employees to get their work done
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, and MPLS

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer
• Excellent technical skills, including experience with BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
