NL-ix Exchange - Public IPv4 PeeringThe NL-ix Internet Exchange is a shared and distributed infrastructure where ISP's can negotiate peering and exchange mutual Internet traffic. Local peering improves performance and saves bandwidth and inherently money on International transit capacity. NL-ix offers Internet Exchange connections at several Dutch datacenters. Ports are available at 100, 1.000 and 10.000 Mbit/s speeds. Access to the IPv4 peering VLAN is included in the port price. More info on peering on the NL-ix Exchange CityLan - Dedicated VLAN'sA CityLan VLAN is a dedicated ethernet connection between two datacenter locations in Amsterdam. It can be used by an ISP, for example for easy, fast and cost-effective network expansion. But it can also be used to interconnect between two different parties, for example to buy or sell services. The VLAN includes two 100 Mbit/s ports on any NL-ix datacenter and a dedicated VLAN between those ports that can burst upto 100 Mbit/s. Band Market - Internet Transit MarketBand Market is a virtual community where Carrier's offer and ISP's buy Internet transit bandwidth. Carriers connect to the Band Market on a 1.000 Mbit/s dot.1q (multiple VLAN's) trunk port. On this port the carrier can provide service to upto 1.000 ISP customers via dedicated VLAN's.
