NL-ix AND TELECITY SIGN CONTRACT FOR TELECITY-AMS5
New built Telecity-5 datacenter will be added to NL-ix coverage
During the recent NL-ix Late Summer Drink, TelecityGroup, a provider of premium carrier-neutral data centres, and NL-ix, signed a contract to expand NL-ix’s capacity in TelecityGroup’s existing data centres and to its new data centre, Telecity-AMS5.
Obviously the Internet use has grown explosively in recent years and this trend is set to continue. Therefor, in response to growing demand for connections and capacity, TelecityGroup is currently building a new 9MW, 9000 m2 data centre in Amsterdam Zuidoost. The contract allows both companies to meet the continued growth of the digital economy in the Netherlands.
NL-ix will be offering its services through AMS 5 from its opening.
