First datacenters in East Netherlands with NL-ix connection

Since quite some time our sister companies www.openpeering.net and www.jointtransit.nl have a presence in Groningen at the RUG. Till recently this capacity was limited to only a few hundred Mb max.

Since february our new NL-ix fiber is operational between Amsterdam and Groningen, which provides much more capacity at our RUG node. This allows for more specific services like Managed Wavelengths with which you can have your personal piece of fiber!

In the same flow, a new site was implemented in Groningen : the SIG-Telehouse at Zernikenlaan 16.
