"IPv6 Awards" in the rebound
On Thursday November 26, the Dutch IPv6 Taskforce will organise the ´IPv6 AWARD´ in the Fortis circustheater in scheveningen.
The same taskforce organised a similar event a year ago, which unfortunately appeared to come to early for the IPv6 world to have enough ipv6 initiatives anyhow to award, and had to be cancelled.
´This year, there are clearly much more IPv6 initiatives to nominate, which is indicative of the sense of urgency that is finally becoming apparent.
I really hope that this years awards will be a huge success and that next year we can cancel the awards again for the reason that IPv6 is mature by then´, smiles Erik Huizer, Chairman of the IPv6 Taskforce.
Potential nominees can still give it a try by presenting their ipv6 contribution at www.ipv6-taskforce.nl/awards/.
In the spirit of this event, NL-ix has decided to extend its ´free IPv6 Transit´ action till July 2010!
