Route Servers

NL-ix operates Route Servers on the Public Peering LAN.

Easy peering
The route servers bring you massive peering routes and eliminate the need to setup and maintain separate one-on-one peering sessions with all NL-ix members.

Every route server participant automatically receives all prefixes of all other participants. The other way around, your prefixes are distributed to all other participants.

Setup IPv4
Configure two BGP sessions on your side with the information below:
    - AS Number AS34307;
    - Route server 1: 193.239.116.255;
    - Route server 2: 193.239.117.0;
    - Allow for at least 10.000 routes.
Once the sessions are set up, contact support@nl-ix.net to get the sessions activated on our side.

Setup IPv6
Configure two BGP sessions on your side with the information below:
    - AS Number AS34307;
    - Route server 1: 2001:7f8:13::a503:4307:1
    - Route server 2: 2001:7f8:13::a503:4307:2
    - Allow for at least 500 routes.
Once the sessions are set up, contact support@nl-ix.net to get the sessions activated on our side.
