Datacenters

The NL-ix service is available in datacenters The Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium and Luxembourg. A datacenter is a party that offers rackspace and redundant power in a conditioned and secured environment, owned by the datacenter.
NL-ix Datacenters generally are Carrier Neutral, thus allow multiple carriers to offer services (for example VLAN's, transit, leased lines, PSTN, ISDN and DSL) to the datacenter customers.

On Repeater Sites NL-ix offers only Metro Fiber and Wavelength products. Switched products are not available on these sites. In most cases Repeater Sites are not Carrier Neutral datacenters, and offer no or only very limited colocation space and power, and limited choice in dark fiber suppliers.
