Afilias operates DNS for many TLDs/ccTLDs such as .INFO, .ORG, .XXX and .NU Peering sessions can be requested and deleted via: https://peering.afilias-nst.info/bgpsessions/manage/ If you do not have a login for the above, or have any issues, please e-mail: peering@rt.afilias-nst.info Please configure 200 or higher as max-prefixes for both IPv4 and IPv6 and accept prefixes up to /24 and /48 respectively for best results. Note that we auto-config max prefix on your session based on your PeeringDB entry, so please make sure it is up to date. Please also note that due to the nature of our service (global anycast DNS) we are not able to aggregate down any further, in case you are wondering why you are seeing many /24 and /48 prefixes from us.

If you have a connectivity issue to Amazon then please visit: IPv4: http://ec2-reachability.amazonaws.com/ IPv6: http://ipv6.ec2-reachability.amazonaws.com/ And include detail on prefixes you think you have a problem with if you contact our Ops alias. This will reduce time with troubleshooting. The following Amazon US locations and associated IX's carry routes/traffic specific only to the services with infrastructure in that metro. For example, Jacksonville is CloudFront only, whereas Ashburn is CloudFront, EC2, S3, etc.) - Seattle - Palo Alto - San Jose - Los Angeles - Dallas - St Louis - South Bend - Jacksonville - Miami - Ashburn - Vienna - Newark - New York The following locations and associated IX's are part of Amazon's European Backbone, carrying routes/traffic for other AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3), Amazon retail, as well as local CloudFront caching. For each of these locations, Amazon will provide local routes/traffic for all services within that locality unless peers are able to meet in at least two diverse locations within the region, in which case, routes/traffic for all services within that region will be provided. - Dublin - Amsterdam - London - Frankfurt - Paris The following Amazon EU locations and associated IX's carry routes/traffic specific only to CloudFront services in that metro. - Stockholm - Milan - Madrid - Marseille - Warsaw The following Amazon AP locations and associated IX's carry routes/traffic specific only to the services with infrastructure in that metro. For example, Hong Kong is CloudFront only, whereas Sydney is CloudFront, EC2, S3, etc.) - Tokyo - Osaka - Hong Kong - Singapore - Sydney When new peering sessions are established, they will initially be configured to not announce or accept any prefixes. Sessions will be normalized in a maintenance window the following evening, usually centered around 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM local time. *** Please don't add our NOC alias listed below to peering requests. Our NOC alias is for trouble issues only. ***

yes 10000 (Mostly Outbound) Content (Global) JPIX Osaka and SGIX are now live with 100G ports! Feel free to establish pending sessions. Apple will also be adding sessions at COMIX, ECIX Duesseldorf & Berlin, BCIX and Equinix NYC in July. Stay tuned! We are not installing cache server nodes within carrier facilities. Best bet is still direct interconnection at carrier neutral locations. We do have another option to consider - http://www.apple.com/osx/server/features/#caching-server https://www.apple.com/support/osxserver/cachingservice/ has been of use for some. Please drop Peering@Group.Apple.com a note to add new locations. You must include your ASN. You must have a peeringdb entry to be added in Apple systems as a peer. Private peering in India is not quite ready. Please consider joining an IX and continue to work with our partners in India. We are actively seeking enterprise and financial sector partners. https://support.apple.com/apple-pay Please keep in mind there are many services in addition to updates - https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/ Performance impacts can degrade the experience when average utilization exceeds 85% (10G) and 90% (100G). With that in mind we will work with your teams to maintain adequate capacity between our networks. Shifts to alternate POPS, links or providers may be encountered during periods of heavy load. Apple is anycast so build all sessions please. Please configure to all possible addresses, not one or two at a site, to improve resiliency. We are announcing +600 routes globally. Since this is a work in progress please use our recommended max prefix setting of 10,000 for IPv4 and 1,000 for IPv6. Apple does not peer with route servers. In addition to providing connectivity to our managed IP customers, the Equinix Connect network also supports the Wifi and wired Kiosks connections at our IBX's. Both IPv4 and IPv6 are supported at all locations, MD5 is possible but not preferred and where we have multiple routers on an IX we require you to establish sessions with each of them. Where present on route-servers we typically announced prefixes from that metro while direct peering sessions we will receive prefixes from across our European networks. Our peering policy should be considered 'mostly open' in that if the potential traffic can at least be measured in mbits and you have a PeeringDB record which can be parsed by our session generation script then we are unlikely to say no :)

Policy: We have a selective peering policy requiring a minimum of 50 Mbps of in-continent traffic destined to or through your network. We welcome the opportunity to engage in peering with responsible BGP speakers in an effort to improve the experience of our millions of users throughout the globe. We require an up-to-date peeringdb entry for all public peering requests, including exchange information with properly formatted public fabric addresses, asns, and noc/peering contact information. We ask that peers also maintain their private peering facilities, as we use this information for private peering (PNI) targeting.

Viewing traceroutes to www.netflix.com or www.netflix.com.br is not indicative of connectivity to Open Connect for content delivery. If you expand the IRR record of AS-NFLX you will see prefixes of our content servers, or contact us at peering@netflix.com for assistance. ***NOTE ON Brazil PTT Peering*** We peer using the route servers (ATM) on each PTT IXP where we are present. If you are a new peer on PTT, you should see a small number of prefixes (< 10) from us, which represents all of our local servers. These are the same prefixes you would see on a bilateral session. *** NOTE ON Netflix Content Delivery *** Netflix streams our content payload via one of three methods: A) An embedded cache inside of your network, provided you meet certain traffic criteria (generally greater than 5Gbps of traffic). We call this the "Open Connect Appliance" B) PNI (SFI) at common private peering locations C) Public Peering (SFI) via IXs at common public peering locations Please contact us at peering@netflix.com to help determine the best method to efficiently serve Netflix traffic to your users. To help us expedite your inquiry, please be sure to provide your AS as well as any downstream ASes (or a IRR record that can be expanded) and the locations that you wish to receive Netflix content at. We will contact you as soon as possible. Note that Netflix does not operate a backbone; you will receive prefixes relevant to the region that you interconnect in only. ***NOTE ON MED SCHEME*** Netflix generally uses geolocation information to localize content delivery, however if we receive MEDs they will be preferred and override the location data. We automatically add a med of 50 to PNI and 100 to IX in addition to the MED you send us. ***NOTE ON SOUTH FLORIDA (MIAMI)*** Netflix is no longer on the NOTA exchange. We highly recommend you join FL-IX (http://www.fl-ix.net) - a completely free exchange that covers the South Florida metro area

Our policy is generally open but if we see you through route servers and we don't exchange more than a few megabits of traffic to yourselves then we may ask that sessions are kept to route servers only We may decide to only send our regional routes to an ISP where sending all of our routes may have a detrimental effect on the latency and routing of existing traffic. Our regions are Europe, Asia and America currently. Where we have low port speeds onto an exchange, we will happily peer with ISPs (and actively want to establish peers there) but we consider these backup routes so you may not see much traffic from us. We recommend a max-prefix value of 500, and prefer md5 passwords on sessions. We usually will accept private peering requests for peers where we exchange 75Mbps or more. PNIs must be a minimum of 1Gbps and we aim to start looking at upgrading capacity once a PNI regularly exceeds 50% Most of our traffic is IPTV from multiple popular services, if you'd like to discuss us sending our traffic to you via alternative routes then please get in touch with our Support contact.

NORDUnet is a not-for-profit research and education network serving all research and higher education institutions in the Nordic countries, The Baltics, Poland, The Netherlands and Russia. Peering with NORDUnet provides connectivity to all researchers, students and educational institutions in these countries. NORDUnet only serves the international academic community and does not provide connectivity or services to commercial networks. We do require a updated PeeringDB-entry to be eligble to peer with NORDUnet. We also do require that the peering-partner peers with both IPv4 and IPv6. We will perform latency-tests towards every peer to figure whether or not this is a local or remote-connection. We very rarely peer with remote and/or participants stretched beyond a metro-connection to the exchange..

Policy: Please see AS3856 - http://as3856.peeringdb.com - for details. All peering information is under AS 3856. With AS 3856 we collect, archive, and display peering routes from exchanges around the world. With AS 42, we do Anycast hosting for Root-Servers and about 300 gTLDs/ccTLDs. For maximum performance and reliability for the TLD servers we host, we attempt to peer with all participants at each exchange. The volume of traffic associated with these services is very small, but we believe it to be particularly valuable.
